Flor has over 23 years of experience in intellectual property matters, specifically in trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, IP transactions, data protection law, and industrial designs. She leads BGAL’s Mexican and foreign trademark practice.
Flor’s counseling practice includes developing trademark protection and enforcement programs and assisting clients in selecting and using adequate trademark protection vehicles. She also manages IP portfolios in Mexico and abroad and negotiates licenses, coexistence agreements, and other IP deals. She conducts due diligence and audits of IP assets in M&A and financing transactions and provides transactional support whenever our clients need it.
Additionally, Flor has represented clients in various industries, including computer technology and services, fashion and luxury goods, food and beverages, gaming, and telecommunications, such as Apple, Grupo Modelo, Tequila Cuervo, Grupo PI Mabe, Kidzania, Federal-Mogul, Cooper Industries, Tory Burch, Aldi, Buckman Laboratories, and Industrias Al.
