Emiliano’s practice area focuses on registering and managing trademark and copyright portfolios in Mexico and abroad. Likewise, he gives advice and is responsible for the prosecution of opposition proceedings filed against the registration of distinctive signs, and he also drafts reports and responds to office actions in substance and form issued by the Industrial Property Mexican Institute (IMPI)
Emiliano is also responsible for researching trademark infringement and misuse of copyrights in Mexico and abroad. In addition, he takes all steps and measures necessary to notify and pursue the issue of an injunctive order in case of infringement proceedings filed with the IMPI, and he drafts opinions and develops legal strategies related to consumers’ rights.
He also oversees the filing and prosecution of proceedings and formalities related to patents, and he is responsible for drafting and editing drawings, logos, and pictorial works, whether by hand or using software.
