Since 2023 Karen has been a junior associate at BGAL ASOCIADOS. Her practice focuses mainly on administration, registration, and protection of trademarks in Mexico and abroad.
Additionally, Karen participates in filing declarations of use, renewals, registration of licenses, agreements, and mergers involving Intellectual Property assets (IMPI), as well as in the issuing of legal opinions related to the protection and maintenance of registrations of distinctive signs in Mexico.
Karen also has experience in carrying out feasibility analyses of the registration of distinctive signs and in reporting and responding to formal and substantive office actions issued by the IMPI.
