Almost a year after the Mannheim Regional Court (Germany) ruled the confirmation that the parent company of Mercedes-Benz used Nokia technologies without authorization, finally both companies decided to reach an agreement by signing an agreement whose terms were confidential.

Through a statement, this Tuesday the Finnish company reported that Daimler will pay for the use of wireless technology licenses for Nokia mobile devices in Mercedes-Benz cars.

After lengthy disputes to resolve issues related to mobile telecommunications technologies, the parties acknowledged that Nokia acted fairly in licensing its essential cellular standards patents (SEP) and that Daimler was using the Finnish company’s technologies without authorization.
